Here’s one I never thought I’d write. Got a call from
the school today and was told my dd was seen with scratches on her arms apparently she did it with scissors. Feel at a loss as to how I help?
i have a cousin who does this a lot and my dd is very curious but I never for a second thought she had got to this point. How do I help her.
i has started to leave her alone a few hours after school each day but thinking I should try and get someone with her instead now

My 16 year old daughter self harmed about 3 years ago and it was bad. She refused any help from me, GP, CAHMS etc. It seemed to go away. Recently she has had issues at school/friends etc and has gone into a dark place again.

Without thinking when i was cleaning the bathroom the other day i threw away 2 old razors intending to empty the bin straight away. I forgot and now they are not in the bin and i am worried she is harming again. She hardly eats, is not interested in anything and spends all day in her room. She seems as if she has given up.

Its so hard knowing what to do. She wont talk about how she feels and just says she is fine.
