To ask about car seat fitting

Can anyone help please.

DH is due to trade in his car and has fallen in love with an MG hs

We have a rear facing axkid minikid 2 which we've only had for a few months but the MG isn't on the approved vehicles list.

Is this because it doesn't fit or just isn't tested. DH will be devastated if I now say no!

For Axkid they don't care if it's on the fit list. If you can get it tethered somewhere and there is a solid floor to put the leg on then you're golden!

Send them a message on FB if unsure or get back to your retailer you bought it from - they usually offer after sales support and could let you know what they think.

As in, their list is just a list of "cars we've tested it in that it definitely does vs does not fit" so not being on the list means unknown rather than definite no.

Some brands are a bit more strict about the list.

You can also message in car safety centre, they have fitted seats in most cars so can usually tell you if there are any issues. With axkid as long as there are no storage boxes then usually there is no issue. Even with storage boxes you just need to check the manual for what to do with support leg.
