Name change because well it's obvious it's me more so then usual and my room is extremely messy

Got bitten in Spain on Sunday or Monday

The bite it sort of Stingy itchy
It was redder but I can't understand what it is? I've never had a bite like it?

It was sort of cob web shaped at one point and my husband wondered if it was getting infected
Now I'm worried it's a tick bite!!

Ideas before I bring myself off to the local pharmacy to show them my wound Blush?

X

I got mosquito bites when I was in Spain this year and they came up just like that. I used aloe on them and they went down eventually but were extremely itchy and stingy especially if touched or rubbed. I think that's what it's likely to be. A tick bite can look more like a bulls eye, red in the middle with a white ring then another red ring on the outside. I'd ask your chemist for something they drove me crazy!

That is such a relief

Yes they are total bastards they got me on the ankles as well at dinner time etc

I got badly bitten in Italy this summer and I had to have anti biotics cream for the bites they were so bad

My theory is we are not used to being bitten any more after travelling less so have worse reactions

Thank you for putting my mind at ease

That just looks like a mosquito bite to me. Tick bites don't usually hurt. Also, based on the location of the bite, I reckon you would have noticed a tick on that part of your body fairly quickly when getting dressed/undressed. I had a tick bite me in a similar area and spotted it straight away cos I tend to glance down at myself when getting dressed, washed or whatever and it was really obvious (the tick was still buried into my skin ... gross but I don't think it had been there long).
