Help please - 6 month old screaming for two hours every night suddenly

Can someone help please. My DD is 6 months and does seem to have CMPA. She's been on special formula for it since she was 8 weeks old. It seemed to be controlled. Her skin is less dry. She still vomits s lot, but the crying was much less.

The last few nights, she's been crying uncontrollably for around 2 hours, if not more. I have another older DC and have never seen anything like this.

It looks like colic, but I though she would be too old for colic now ? In the day she seems fine. But she's quite a needy baby and wants to be held entertained a lot more than my first. So she's quite grumpy most of the day. She screams at you for attention, rather than crying in pain.

At night now, she's crying in pain. Her bottom two teeth came through a couple of weeks ago. Could this be other teeth coming through ? It seems really extreme. Can they cry this much for teething pain ? I gave her some Calpol last night and walked around with her and eventually she fell asleep.

I have put some Calpol in her milk tonight because she was crying again a lot.

Any advice appreciated.

Hi, sorry your little one isn't well. Mine started with reflux as 6 months which is unusual. He refused to drink and always seem to be in pain, arching his back and always wanted to be upright.

The Dr prescribed Gavison infant and after a few days he was much better. Have you been the the Dr?

Have you started weaning? Might be that there little tummy is just getting used to something other than milk now.

Any sign of a cold? If so, maybe get her ears checked. Out of the norm upset in my son was always his ears.

Is she eating any solids yet? If she is try a spoon of cereal or something bland in the evening. I found it helped the reflux a bit and so no acid burn.
