Think for the future intervention at school - any experience?

My DS has been offered a place on a school intervention with a group called Think for the future. I wondered if anyone's DC had done this intervention and how they found it?

DS has been offered the place as he has high levels of anxiety and low emotional reslience. (He also has autism). While the intervention says it deals with these issues most of it seems to be about improving behaviour and attendance and many of the kids invited to the group have these issues. Because of behaviours of the other people on the group DS is now saying he doesn't want to attend. I'm now worried that the intervention aimed at helping him is going to kick off his anxiety even more, but don't want to just let him leave of it might help in the long run. Would value any advice/similar experiences of others.

Get him to try it. It will be a small group ,less likely for kids to disrupt it.
