What’s with all the trolls?

Have people gone loopy over the half term? It seems as though every halfway interesting thread has been started by a troll or derailed by a troll (or both).

I check posters on AS because by now I recognise some of the style.

It is freaking annoying. Half the threads are shite

Generally the troll is found out and the threads are deleted. Usually because they are previously banned posters up for another go.

Another go in less than 10 minutes

They get zapped so you can't.

Last nights was about a woman who checked the smart meter after she had been out for four hours and her husband was using more electricity than she thought was necessary. It wasn't for a good long while that the reason was discovered. So you really have to stay with it.

I rather liked the bison troll, so silly it hardly counts as trolling, unlike the one pretending to be school governor looking for ways to save money.

Not naming threads but a long thread I was on has just been deleted while MN look behind the scenes. I should have known better getting drawn in and being worried for the OP.
