Someone absolutely lovely and amazing to look after my children whenever I need a break!

AnOldCynic · 01/11/2022 18:52

Not to be a mother. But failing that, a weekend away somewhere rural, cosy hotel, Michelin star food, spa. Just me and a few books.

RosalindsAFuckingNightmare · 01/11/2022 17:28

A family to spend it with, like in the adverts.

God, this.

Goatling · 01/11/2022 18:57

For two of my children who no longer speak to me to get in touch.

Laska2Meryls · 01/11/2022 18:59

A Chinese takeaway subscription.. one a month maybe.. is that too weird?
( We dont have any decent takeaways anywhere near us , being a bit rural so a totally fantasy present . I do miss them still and we have lived here over 15 years ) ...

00kitty · 01/11/2022 21:02

OP said just one thing, Gracie Lou.

BCBird · 01/11/2022 21:32

Inner peace

AlmostAJillSandwich · 01/11/2022 21:33

To get engaged, not fussed at all about a ring.

heidihigh · 01/11/2022 21:37

Realistically - a new pair of slippers as mine have had it.
Optimistically - a new kitchen, we've been in this house about 18 months and the kitchen is so tatty but it's liveable so not a priority and not likely to happen any time soon. As much as it irritates me every time I use it Grin

NewHopeNow · 01/11/2022 21:38

A date for my operation that's less than 12 months away.

MrsDThomas · 01/11/2022 21:39

TerrifyingGhostTrain · 01/11/2022 21:43

(ain’t gonna happen, but you did ask!) Grin
