Food safety standards - LTB?

DH, an otherwise sensible person, does not understand basic food principles. Like opening a packet and not sealing it up or putting items in jar/container will cause them to go stale. Does not understand that dairy products cannot be left on counter for hours and then put back in fridge and then be surprised when products go off before their best before date. It’s reached a crux today when DH, absolutely flabbergasted says, “we need to start shopping somewhere else. The milk is always off. I think I’m actually going to write a formal complaint”. I told him the problem was him and he looked at me completely baffled. A few hours later he and 16 month old baby are eating food he has prepared, and he looks up at me and says “can you taste this? I think it’s off. Baby seems to like it but I think it’s bad”. Is this the final straw? LTB?

This would really annoy me.

Have you talked to him about this? Like ‘this is basic food safety/hygiene, please follow it before you give us all food poisoning’.

Jesus Christ that's grim! Can you send him on a food hygiene course?

This. I think they do them online.
