To have a disappointing flight

Dh and I were on a flight yesterday.
I'd prebooked aisle seats as he needs to be able to get out for the loo a lot and I don't want the middle seat.
As I have been reading MN about people being asked to swop seats etc.
Am I being unreasonable to be disappointed
that no one asked us to move. So no round of applause for us.
In actual fact everyone around us were so friendly, chatting, giving out sweets and swapping newspapers.

How disappointing. I fly tomorrow and am now wondering if I will be disappointed as well.

Yes very strange, perhsps try travelling by train next time, people always seem to sit in other people's booked seats as they can't be bothered to book their own

Dreadful behaviour. Perhaps you could just pick a contentious topic and loudly announce to the plane at large of your views on the subject (that must then be agreed with, obviously)

I know how you feel, I walked my dog and had nothing but friendly dogs coming over to say hello, and those that weren't so sociable were kept on a short lead by their owners. No chance to moan on about bad manners at all.
