I signed up to the FREE family subscription for 17.99 a month, its almost time to cancel or commit for another month and im swaying.

Its so nice to not have ADS . We are a family of 5 2 teens and an ASD child. Its especially great for youngest as he spends alot of time on there.

Do you have it and do you think it's worth it? Especially interested in those who have YT obsessed ASD children x

YABU cancel it really isn't worth it
YANBU keep it if you can afford to

I think it depends how you watch. On the computer we use Brave as a browser (instead of Chrome or Safari or whatever) which is free and good for efficiently using your computer’s resources and its privacy features which include an adblocker. This means that any youtube videos you watch on your computer (or tablet) have no ads.

If you spend lots of time watching on the TV then its more difficult (though probably not impossible) to watch without ads, in which case, you may feel that the subscription is worth it to you.

As most of our youtube happens on a computer or tablet, the subscription is not worth it to us.
