If you text a friend 48 hours ago and you had no reply, would you be annoyed?

Friend has been posting on social media constantly since I text her. She is glued to her phone. Literally on social media 24’7. We are trying to arrange meeting up within a few days. I need to make childcare/travel arrangements so the lack of reply is irritating me slightly.

Make plans with someone else

I had a friend who did this, she just didn't take into account that I had to make arrangements in order to come out.

I made arrangements with someone else and then told her I wasn't available when she finally messaged me back. She then admitted she'd been waiting for a reply from someone else

We're not friends anymore 😂

Still no reply 😂
If she decides to reply tomorrow, I’ll be telling her it is too late for me to make childcare arrangements. She has spent the day posting stories on social media again so it is a little insulting to be honest. At least I know where I stand now eh!

I hate people like that too. I generally don’t open messages until i can respond. But 48 hours isn’t a fair way to treat a friend. I also don’t buy the ‘i am SO busy ALL the time’ excuse. If something or someone is important then you don’t forget about it or ignore it. Absolutely make other plans for yourself and if she comes back with a lame reply then take a fair few days or a week to get back to her if you even want to do so.
