Bluey Sleepytime

Has anyone else watched this episode of Bluey & quite literally sobbed?? Hope it’s not just me 🫢

There was another thread so you’re definitely not alone, but I was filled with abject terror rather than emotion.

Oh yes when her mum is sun!! I SOBBED! Then again Bluey makes me cry a lot.. adore it though!

I love this episode, definitely shed a few tears watching it!

Oh my god I can't believe there is a thread on this! I literally nearly started one last week as I needed moral support. I have watched it multiple times since and still haven't managed to get through without being teary. I was sobbing the first time, my husband couldn't understand what happened when he walked in.

Bingo is identical to my daughter right now. And the way the sun is her mummy. Oh my goodness, I held her a bit tighter after I first saw this.

I watched this one the other day and it is beautiful. I have 2 girls the same age as bluey and bingo and they capture children that age so well. I suspect I will be watching this episodes in 10 years time for nostalgia when they are moody teenagers and sobbing!

Aww sleepytime is the best. I’ve watched it so many times. We play the music on the Alexa all the time and I can’t not think of the episode when I hear it now.

My kids are 4 and 6 too. Bluey makes me cry all the time. Baby race gets me every time.

Same ages for me too. I've had a lump in my throat at Sleepytime, Baby Race, the one where the green balloon is lost into the evening sky. And more I can't even remember.

"Camping" got me 😩

Not cried at sleepyhead but Baby Race gets me every single time when coco's mam calls round at the end 😢

Yep! It's such a beautiful and emotional episode There's also an episode 'Baby Races' where Chilli has just had Bluey. It alludes to her feeling like she's not doing well as a mother/comparing herself to other mums and feeling sad, and then realising that all babies develop slightly differently, and that it's not a race.

Just seen that a few others have mentioned Baby Races.

I feel so old watching bluey, I can't catch anything they say. I feel like my parents watching new fangled programmes with youngster presenters. I have to try really hard to tune into it.

That episode was the last straw that made me pull the plug on bluey. My dd was in tears every night for a week because it made her so sad.
The one where the budgie dies was worse.
She’s not yet four so she’s probably just too young for it. I liked it at first but it’s too emotional at times.
A lot of the jokes seem to be aimed at adults. They go right over her head but she keeps asking me about them. When bingo asks bandit where babies come from 🫣
Dd was also picking up some annoying behaviour from it, saying no to brushing her teeth etc because it was boooring, pretending to cry and saying You don’t love me anymore when her dad wouldn’t play with her.
It’s funny and very well made but it’s not worth all the bs. I phased it out, she hasn’t asked about it and it won’t be making a comeback in this house.

Baby race and onesie break me everytime.

This one makes me cry everytime, as well as baby race and I can't remember what the episode is called but the one with Chilli's dad when she is chasing him, Bluey and Bingo and then they are sat next to each other on the Dock.

This one has me ugly crying every time! Though I seem to cry at half the Bluey episodes, so that’s nothing new.

We've just started watching this in our house, but the flat pack episode has DS in tears every time.
