Posting for traffic, sorry, but need quick advice.

If you are a teacher and your own child (NRP) makes an accusation you have hit them, would you need to inform your school of this? I'm thinking it would come under safe guarding in some context?

Claim being investigated by social services. All untrue, but procedures are obviously and quite rightly being followed.

Yes, declare to Headteacher of the allegation and SS investigation. They may take advice from the LADO to determine they are safe to continue working with students.
