Did UK ever had so handsome prime minister?

First I'm not British, so probably not my place to write about this, but I like reading about your history and politics.

I can not name every UK prime minister in the last 100 years, but looking at their pictures I can not remember any other that was so handsome as Rishi Sunak.

His policies aside, he is physically just my type.

Anybody else thinks he is lovely to look at even if you do not agree with his opinions.

I quite like Jeremy Hunt 😊

There's something about Ed Balls that I find strangely attractive too

You're not the first person I've heard/seen to have said that.

Can anyone please explain the lust for Ed and Boris? Confused

Topseyt123 · 25/10/2022 17:36

He is amongst the better looking PMs we have had, I would say.

Some would call him Dishy Rishi. The real question is though, what sort of a job will he do as PM?

MsGus · 25/10/2022 17:38

Handsome is in the eye of the beholder but no way is Rishi Sunak handsome.

Bacibaci · 25/10/2022 17:40

As he will do nothing to reform tax - ie a wealth tax on the super rich who have made billions in recent years as the rest of the nation’s living standards decline - I can’t see him past that and can make no comment on his looks.

Questionaboutjoboffer · 25/10/2022 17:42

Amongst other things, I just hope he imposes a windfall tax on energy companies rather than making us pay back the energy subsidy. I don’t care what he looks like.

Bacibaci · 25/10/2022 17:42

Ps I also can’t forget him telling people at a meeting in Tunbridge Wells that he made sure local govt funding was rediverted from poor urban areas to TW. The govt purposely set up a local govt funding formula that took proportionally more from the poorest areas of the U.K. I think that was an awful thing to do.

Ugh yes. I keep on forgetting that.

Yes, agree as well as a wealth tax on the super rich a windfall tax on energy producers should be introduced. Even the exiting CEO of Shell said they should be taxed more on their windfall profits. I fear Sunak will not do this.

Blogswife · 25/10/2022 17:44

It’s hard to find someone attractive when their politics , ethics and morals are so dubious , so no - to me he is hideous!

Mercurial123 · 25/10/2022 12:45

My friend thinks Ian Duncan Smith is handsome I can't figure that one out. Rishi dresses well and is in good shape looks a million times better than BoJo but I don't find him attractive.

I can see the attraction for Ian Duncan Smith .I think he is always very well dressed and groomed. The same goes for Rishi Sunak. They are both not my type at all (and I don't agree with their politics) but they always look put together which can be attractive.

erikbloodaxe · 25/10/2022 17:46

Nope. He's like a scrawny little 6th former. His privilege makes my skin crawl.

fannyfartlet · 25/10/2022 17:51

DysonSpheres · 25/10/2022 15:56

You're likely to be disappointed there...

Yeah, I think I am....

Georgyporky · 25/10/2022 17:55

I'd need to be really desperate & blindfolded before I'd let him near me.
Nothing to do with politics, I just find him ugly.

FabFitFifties · 25/10/2022 17:56

Young Gordon Brown

Did UK ever had so handsome prime minister?
theDudesmummy · 25/10/2022 17:57

Yummyyyyyy

Derrymare · 25/10/2022 17:57

He is passable

Livpool · 25/10/2022 17:58

VampiresWife · 25/10/2022 12:57

Being a Tory makes him about as attractive as a dose of the clap, whatever he looks like.

Exactly- I can't see past that

onemomentintime · 25/10/2022 16:44

Not totally relevant but the other day I was in the same pub as Mr Firth at lunchtime and the same pub as Mr Clegg in the evening (different pub) - spooky...

Which pub where?!

Livpool · 25/10/2022 18:02

Hintofreality · 25/10/2022 13:02

The only pleasure I’d get from straddling his face is suffocating him.

😂😂😂😂

IntentionalError · 25/10/2022 18:12

My rankings :

1, Tony Blair (I met him a couple of times before he became PM. In the flesh, he was incredibly attractive & charismatic)

Big gap

2, Rishi Sunak. Conventionally handsome, but tiny.
3, Gordon Brown
4, David Cameron
5, John Major

Big gap

6, Boris Johnson. Just utterly physically repulsive.🤮

EmmaH2022 · 25/10/2022 18:16

I'm so surprised by the Blair comments. I met him twice, in the days when I liked him. (Can't stand him any more).

He was nice but I didn't perceive him as good looking.

has the Charles Walker thread been mentioned?

pairofrollerskates · 25/10/2022 17:02

I can honestly say that this remark would have been regarded as very sexist and objectifying if it had been a man posting about a woman prime minister. Do we have to stoop so low?

We don't have to, no . . .

ArabellaScott · 25/10/2022 18:28

Well, you'd have to stoop a bit for Rishi.
