Did UK ever had so handsome prime minister?

First I'm not British, so probably not my place to write about this, but I like reading about your history and politics.

I can not name every UK prime minister in the last 100 years, but looking at their pictures I can not remember any other that was so handsome as Rishi Sunak.

His policies aside, he is physically just my type.

Anybody else thinks he is lovely to look at even if you do not agree with his opinions.

I once had a (brief) fantasy about a spit roast with Cameron and Clegg. It was around the rose garden time, the weather was nice and there was something in the air… that’s my excuse anyway.

See, I'd prefer Rishi's kebabs, to be honest.

ArabellaScott · 25/10/2022 16:55

That's not a double entendre. I'm hungry.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 25/10/2022 16:56

I always used to think he looked like deputy head boy, and his trousers were a bit short. Now he's looks like head boy. I'm not into schoolboys!!

I can honestly say that this remark would have been regarded as very sexist and objectifying if it had been a man posting about a woman prime minister. Do we have to stoop so low?

It's always slightly depressing though, that they come into office looking (reasonably!) fresh but leave looking grey, doughy and haggard.

So true. I was just speculating today how quickly he will age.

I tried raising that point earlier but aparantly it's ok

Morceaux · 25/10/2022 17:11

Male PMs of my lifetime:

  1. Rishi Sunak. Sort-of handsome. A bit short.
  2. Tony Blair. Young. Not entirely unattractive.
  3. Gordon Brown. Well past his best by the time he was in office.
  4. David Cameron. Like a face drawn on a balloon.
  5. John Major. Existed.
  6. Boris Johnson. Short, overweight and toad-faced.
Fudgeytastic · 25/10/2022 17:13

There's something about Ed Balls that I find strangely attractive too

Several people have raised this now so you're not alone.

I think the looks and appearance is not so bad as we've mentioned female politicians before, including on this thread. It's more the would or wouldn't I fuck* them that makes this thread so awful.

*and other colloquialisms

Darbs76 · 25/10/2022 17:16

I don’t find him attractive as such but he is a nice looking man. Especially compared to most of Parliament!

cesspoolclowncar · 25/10/2022 17:19

You're all bonkers!

PornographicPriestess · 25/10/2022 17:19

I'd rather have my eyes gouged out with a teaspoon than shag a tory.

notmyrealmoniker · 25/10/2022 17:20

on looks alone, it would be Tony Blair, but David cameron and his Lib dem sidekick were pretty nice to look at. Rischi Ritch is quite dishy in a gaunt sort of way

You must be the same age as me.

FineandDandie · 25/10/2022 17:20

Christ no, he's like a fascist Adrian Mole.

He’s no Pedro Sanchez, that’s for sure.

is he Antonio Banderos’ younger brother! He could be.

Hermenonville · 25/10/2022 17:21

Rishi looks very shiny! He wears very good suits, that helps his tiny physique a lot.
His wife is a beauty.

Tbf, the Thatcher-buffer means I could have been born anytime between 1979 and 1997 and that list would be accurate.

ArabellaScott · 25/10/2022 16:04

Yes, Penny's pretty handsome, too.

Handsome is the word for Penny Morto. With a hint of ooh matron thrown in. She'd have walked the election with the membership but it wasn't to be...

I used to think David Miliband was quite hot, although I think he could do with growing his hair out a bit. It's a bit Action Man velveteen right now.

Hmm, he's quite nice-looking I suppose. I am, however, the only person whose name isn't Norma or Edwina who quite fancied John Major back in the day.

I was just about to say, Major turned out quite well as an older grey man, he's not bad these days, I find. Also talks much more sense than any of the others! Maybe I'm just showing my age, though, he's the only one mentioned who's older than me, I think!

nonevernotever · 25/10/2022 17:27

If I had to, I'd go for William Grenville. Or the mongoose...

Morceaux · 25/10/2022 17:29

On reflection, I’m swapping Dave and John’s positions around on my list.

LibertyLily · 25/10/2022 17:31

He's very smart/well-dressed but too slimey and lacking charisma for me. I don't find his wife attractive either....

Curiously, I actually find Boris quite sexy 😳
