Did UK ever had so handsome prime minister?

First I'm not British, so probably not my place to write about this, but I like reading about your history and politics.

I can not name every UK prime minister in the last 100 years, but looking at their pictures I can not remember any other that was so handsome as Rishi Sunak.

His policies aside, he is physically just my type.

Anybody else thinks he is lovely to look at even if you do not agree with his opinions.

Rishi is waaay too small for my liking... but Tony Blair back in the day was pleasing on the eye!

Morceaux · 25/10/2022 18:42

Funny to think that Churchill was shorter than Rishi.

Squizzas · 25/10/2022 18:42

Well he’s in good shape, he looks clean and like he’d smell of something classy and his clothes look ironed and clean. His hair looks like it hasn’t been hacked with a pair of blunt hedge shears, so this is all a huge step up after Johnson. He also acts like a grown up and doesn’t make me squirm with embarrassment and rage when he talks, so these are also huge steps up after Johnson and Truss.

That's not a double entendre. I'm hungry.

It was Rishi’s meat display that reminded me 😂

FallopianTubeTrain · 25/10/2022 18:52

ArabellaScott · 25/10/2022 18:28

Well, you'd have to stoop a bit for Rishi.

🤣🤣🤣

SpudleyLass · 25/10/2022 19:09

I think you can find people attractive without necessarily thinking they're conventionally good looking.

So with that said, I'll use this thread to out myself as another woman who finds Boris to curiously compelling.

Can't explain it , its not rational I know but hey.

Winterscomingagain · 25/10/2022 19:12

He's remarkably slim and always looks very well groomed. He may age rapidly.

Bacibaci · 25/10/2022 19:13

However the only thing that matters to me is if they can reduce tax and make the state smaller and make us all better off.

Hilarious to think that would make us all better off. As if, although I wouldn’t expect you Xenia to have any other view than this one.

I wouldn't 😎

I do not get the Boris thing, but precedent and his child support bill tells us those of you who are feeling the rumpled-clown thing are not alone, bizarre as it seems to the rest of us...

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 25/10/2022 19:15

I find him handsome but also find him smarmy

awaynboilyurheid · 25/10/2022 19:15

Boris makes me want to vom in personality and in looks, I would say Blair def the handsomest pm in history.

SudocremOnEverything · 25/10/2022 19:20

I saw a meme that compared him to Roland rat. I can never unsee the resemblance.

Anonymouslyposting · 25/10/2022 19:24

Too short for my taste so I’d go with Cameron if forced to pick.

LibrariesGiveUsPower · 25/10/2022 19:26

KnickerlessParsons · 25/10/2022 12:43

Is it because he's the youngest PM for 200 years (or something like that)?

Most likely. All previous PM’s have been roughly twice my age. He’s a good looking bloke though.

Clavinova · 25/10/2022 19:33

I just hope he imposes a windfall tax on energy companies

He did:

[Keir] Starmer’s claim that the government ‘won’t touch’ energy giants’ windfall profits is misleading: there is already a windfall tax on energy companies’ excess profits.
Sep 28
Yet senior Labour figures - first Mr Miliband, then shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves, the official Labour Twitter account, and now Mr Starmer - keep saying things that imply or directly state that there is no windfall tax in operation.

Depends on your type really - I quite like the look of Keir Hardie and Stanley Baldwin cuts a 'dashing' figure - thankfully we don't judge our Leaders, People or Anybody on what they look like anymore.

Or did I miss the latest Memo?

Ooh no, Blair looks like a perma-tanned, jug-eared Dobbie (from Harry Potter) to me.

Boris isn't a looker but my very sensible and not prone to dramatics friend describes him as immensely charismatic in the flesh. Apparently he made her feel like she was the only woman in the room...

Benjispruce4 · 25/10/2022 20:41

I don’t think I’d fall for Boris after even 10 pints!

damnteeth · 25/10/2022 21:21

girlmom21 · 25/10/2022 12:44

He looks like the fat controller from Thomas the Tank.

As Frankie Boyle said, Cameron looks like a trombone player from a Lurpak advert

Haha

Frankie Boyle is repulsive.

TinaYouFatLard · 25/10/2022 21:34

Haven’t RTFT so apologies if it’s been mentioned (in the 23 pages!) but someone on here once admitted to a bit of a fancy towards Jacob Reese-Mogg. They were a bit flustered at the thought of him being all Headmasterly.

nonono1 · 25/10/2022 21:39

Margaret Thatcher was the most attractive in recent years I’d say - helped a lot by the fact she was very polished and put together. Total confidence and conviction combined with charisma (all of which she had in spades) also increases attractiveness IMO.

nonono1 · 25/10/2022 21:40

And I say this as a straight woman who either votes Labour or Green!

StarfishBrain · 25/10/2022 21:47

Laiste · 25/10/2022 13:01

No. Christ NO

😳

Hansom? Glamorous?
He's got big sticky out ears, his eyes are really close together and he's quite short.

He looks clean and smart and smiles a lot. This is the best i can say about him. It doesn't make him fanciable in my eyes.

But it wouldn't do for us all to be the same, as my nan used to say.

This.

Although "quite short" is also very generous!!

StarfishBrain · 25/10/2022 21:52

SlouchingTowardsBethlehemAgain · 25/10/2022 13:12

He looks like a small horse.

A pony?
