Any maths wizzes out there who can help me?

Basic gross monthly salary is £2,006.

Done some overtime which will equate to £648.

Any idea how much I will get? It's all to be paid in the same month and usually I'd just wait and see but I'm desperately trying to work out my budget.

Do you get double time/time and a half? Not really enough info there.

I use this calculator (it is easier to put one off overtime as a bonus as you already have the gross figure for it):

That shouldn't matter as I've given the exact amount the overtime totals I think?

Are you asking what your net pay will be after tax, NI etc?

LIZS · 24/10/2022 16:12

Won't you be taxed at 20% and pay ni on £648. So probably around £500 net.

Dreamwhisper · 24/10/2022 16:13

Nevermind I've figured it out thank you @Aqwertyone I did try that calculator but couldn't figure out how to do the bonus until you said Smile

Do you pay into a pension? Are you repaying student loans? What is your tax code?

Kite22 · 24/10/2022 16:21

What Numpties said.
I know my ds was cross that the student loan payment went up when he did some overtime, even though it was a one off one month.
Other folk won't have student loans.
Then people pay different amounts into pensions.
