Mumsnet emails...arghhhh!

Sorry I am definitely posting here for traffic and I know I am Not BU - but I have turned my email notifications OFF yet still Mumsnet sends me about 30 emails a day...how can I get this turned off if the turn off button doesn't actually work!?

Expecting a million emails now because I have written this post!

This is new, right? I’m pretty sure we didn’t used to get notifications if someone quoted us?

You should be able to turn off email notifications by clicking on profile >settings >more settings. You can also stop any private messaging through mumsnet this way.

If it's really annoying you OP, can you not go to your settings and change your email account to a throwaway one?

I used a different email address purposefully for things like this so I can ignore the emails when they build up

I don't get any e mails at all from MN so you must be able to switch them off in settings.

It’s definitely recently got waaay worse! They’ve changed something in the way they send out emails for sure
