Beasts on the loose

BorisIsaSpider · 21/10/2022 16:31

There is a report in my local rag about a beast on the loose, some sort of big cats. I think it is nonsense noone has ever photographed one, let alone captured one. They are like ghosts and poltergeists, figments of people's imagination

Could be bison...

WhileMyGuitarGentlyWeeps · 21/10/2022 16:35

Are they bisons? Drinking all the poisoned water?

Isseywith3witchycats · 21/10/2022 16:37

it is possible for them to be big cats that have escaped from private collectors as there was a fad for owning these cats and if one escaped and you didnt have the correct license to keep one you wouldnt report it missing

LeMoo · 21/10/2022 16:37

I thought this said "breasts on the loose" and was expecting a different type of post.

BorisIsaSpider · 21/10/2022 16:39

I saw the Bison on the news.

Haven't there been big cats on the loose for years?

hesbeingabitofadick · 21/10/2022 16:39

Bison.

Definitely.

Do not approach, especially if you have fruitcake with you.

BorisIsaSpider · 21/10/2022 16:39

This isnt a Bison

Sometimes cats can look really big from a distance but saying that a few months ago, I know I saw a big cat.

It was twice the size of a moggy and black all over. Stalking through a field.

My partner was with me and she saw it too.

BorisIsaSpider · 21/10/2022 16:42

Where do they go then?

OP posts:
Soubriquet · 21/10/2022 16:47

No idea! But since I live in the middle of nowhere and there are miles upon miles of farmland and fields, I’m sure they can hide somewhere

bloodywhitecat · 21/10/2022 17:01

Tiddles! I wondered where he'd got to.

fruktsoda · 21/10/2022 17:02

Another here who was expecting something about going bra-less... 😅

StrataZon · 21/10/2022 17:05

It"ll be a bison heading to get its oven chips from M&S

girlmom21 · 21/10/2022 17:05

Do you live anywhere near Baskerville Hall?

PeekabooAtTheZoo · 21/10/2022 17:06

Is it a sea serpent in disguise? Hmm

PickAChew · 21/10/2022 17:07

You wallabycareful about what you suggest.

whumpthereitis · 21/10/2022 17:08

Someone posted in one of the local Facebook groups a photo of a cat in a tree, and asked ‘what species of wild cat is this?’.

The owner replied. British shorthair, apparently.

KangarooKenny · 21/10/2022 17:08

We have deer where we live, I see them very rarely. I don’t know where they go, but it doesn’t mean they’re not real.

Mollyplop999 · 21/10/2022 17:12

I misread the title as "breasts on the loose" 😂

GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 21/10/2022 17:17

There's been provable wild / feral lynx all across the UK (provable because they've been shot!) meeting one of them on a dark night would be quite big enough for me, thank you very much.

DozyFox · 21/10/2022 18:25

There's a stretch of road near me that I've heard come up a few times with big black cat sightings.

Someone I know had quite a close sighting of one there that took her totally by surprise. It just seems so strange, but she's also just not the type for hysterics or lying.

BorisIsaSpider · 21/10/2022 21:25

I am back, wouldnt their remains be found somewhere. Do they not die of old age or hunger?
