I had a thermocoagulation on my cervix on Tuesday , I've got a stinky discharge that's filling pad quite quickly I keep cleaning myself but I still smell, my lower Tummy and back is hurting. I rang my GP yesterday after I got dizzy and fell down the stairs told no appointments. Today I still feel very crap and stinky. Told no appointments and they would contact the duty doctor I've been waiting for 4 hours for a telephone call Conscious it's getting towards the weekend and I don't want it to get worse over the weekend. I don't want to waste anyones time though.

Do you have a number of the department that did the procedure? I’d be calling them for advice

YesMaybeNo · 21/10/2022 12:24

If you can't contact the team who performed the procedure as advised above, I would be inclined to call 111 for advice in this instance.

Definitely call 111, at the very least they can probably get you an out of hours apt

Did the dept give you instructions on what to do? Like, have you a paper sheet anywhere? It sounds like an infection and I think you should try and get yourself seen today.

You 100% need to get this checked out. Following any procedure your hospital discharge notes should have a contact number to call if you're concerned. That would be your best bet.
