Shit family - DD birthday - Useless Ex

Long time poster - name changed.

My DD had a birthday last week. Her DF didn't send a card. Her DU didn't send a card or present. Her DGP (from ex) gave a present to her step bro/sis to hand over but they haven't bothered to do that.
I'm so upset for her. We don't have a big family. The DU (my bro) excuse was that I didn't put her b'day on social media (to remind him)! WTAF. He's now known for days but nothing materialised.

I despair. My DD thankfully is so loved that they haven't taken it too badly but I obviously did have to field questions about the present from DGP as they rang and told him it was coming via step sis/bro.

There's obviously lots more to this but AIBU to be angry and should when/if I see them, do I say anything?

The main thing I would do is ignore all their birthdays in future (except DGPs). So no card or present from you or dd.

If you want to tell how disappointed you are, do it.

And then forget all their birthdays from them on.

@eldora - I'm so tempted to do this, starting with Xmas. I feel so sorry for my DD having such a shit family. If I lose my rag with them, I'm potentially harming her relationship with them going forward. But, I can't let it go as equally, that's setting a bad example of letting people walk over you.

Don’t lose your rag, just stop acknowledging their birthdays at all.
