Idiots guide to politics

My head is woolly with covid so my understanding is limited but please could someone give me the idiots guide to wtf is going on with our government? Apart from them being incompetent fools. My main question is how has Truss destroyed the economy? I've been in bed for 2 weeks nearly and missed most of the news. I knew things were bad but wtf is going on and why?

A lot of economic stability (which essentially means steady growth) is based on confidence in the market, that if speculative investments are made they will - eventually - pay off.

The mini budget made a lot of promises that weren’t supported by any obvious means of paying for them. That dented confidence and various assets were sold to ‘cash out’. The Bank of England had to artificially pump up the value of those assets to stop a death spiral that would seriously damage pension funds and thereby future stability across the financial board.

Kwasi went.

Suella went.

Liz went.

That's about it, really...

Truss and Kami-kwasi came up with a bloody stupid pretend it's not a budget which would have screwed everyone over. Then they reneged on some of it. Then she threw Kwasi under a bus and sacked him, pretending it was all his fault. Then Hunt came in to try and make them look like they know what they're doing and reversed pretty much everything.
