Apologies if this is in the wrong place but i dont know where else to put it....

I bought a hoover fridge from Very a few weeks ago.
After a couple of days I opened a freezer drawer to fill.it and the drawer front snapped off.
I rang Very, who said I'd have to contact Hoover directly. I did so and was told that because it was a user accident I wasn't covered for a replacement..if the front had popped out it was, but beacaue it had snapped it wasn't!?
He advised was better.odd to sign up to the monthly fee that covers all.damage including accidental.
Last week, I opened the fridge door and out came crashing jars, and bottles. The top plastic door shelf had snapped and also broken the shelf below it.
Thank fully my daughter was not underneath at the time (she usually is as she thinks it's snack time).
I messaged Hoover again to chase the missing freezer drawer front, and report the 2 broken shelves.
I have since been informed that they are out of stock and I have to wait at least 60 days for replacements.....

Would I be unreasonable to demand a complete replacement fridge, as it's clearly flimsy.
It wasn't even bloody cheap!

YANBU but please please get your request into writing either by email or post or a chat transcript ASAP. Do this in addition to calling, as they will try and fob you off until the window for a return and replacement of a defective item under consumer rights act expires and then claim there is no record of your phone calls.

Following - I had a tumble dryer delivered from Curry's s d it was making a hell of a noise. After a debacle trying to get an engineer to look at it he said it's got a dent in the side and it's been dropped from a great height, so waiting to see what curry's do next (he tipped is off that they'll try and get us to keep it) ... so just tell them you want a new one too

Assuming you paid Very, your contract is with them, not Hoover. Chase Very for a replacement.
Here is some helpful advice on your rights from CAB

Thank you everyone. Sorry for the delay in responding.
Its hard.to get it in writing as their customer service is via phone only. Now I know why reading the above.
Very have offered me £25 goodwill gesture and will ring back in a few weeks to see.if the parts are here. Of not I'll be requesting a.new one.

Thank.you! It's never easy is it.
