Will I look like a crazy person?aibu?

Hiya I'm travelling to New York in a month with my partner.
She is a huge fan of travelling /planes etc and when she was little she would go and view the planes with her late grandad every weekend.
Anyway I've booked the airport hotel and booked a nice room the night before.
3 of the king rooms have views of airport runway and you can see planes take off etc
I've made a note on booking and they've replied saying we have added this info to booking.
When checking in will I look like crazy person if I mention it again or even email day before we arrive to ask for one of these particular rooms ?

It seems strange they don't let you book one of those rooms when making the initial enquiry.

Definitely email them and then call the day before!

Who cares if you look like a crazy person to a stranger if it gets you what you want for your friend.

Its quite a common request and they will usually accommodate you wherever possible.

They'll be used to it. tons of people love watching the planes.

There are people that will 'camp out' at hotels on Airport grounds, if they know an unusual plane is coming in that day etc.
