PDR's

PDR's - not particularly helpful.

Although I get good feedback in PDR's overall, a key thing which keeps coming back is about confidence. No matter how confident I feel inside, or how decisive and proactive I am, I always get this feedback. As an introvert and potentially autistic person, I do my level best to present myself as chatty, warm and not on the spectrum at work. I asked specifically what could I do differently to appear more confident, and was told a bunch of things that I already do do. So it was no help at all to ask. Therefore my aibu, is I see PDRs as a way for companies to allow colleagues a sanctioned way to bash each other. They undermine relationships, as you try to establish who has a specific axe to grind, they are ultimately demoralising, even if you get a good or outstanding result, you still feel like you are not enough.

Thanks...
