AIBU?

To find this outrageous

Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby has given birth to a baby girl. She has a subscription service priced at £2.99 to see photos of her newborn baby. AIBU to think it’s disgusting to sell your just born baby like that.

I think it's wrong.

But is it really that much different to the 'celebs' who gey paid large sums showing off their babies in OK/hello magazines?

ComtesseDeSpair · 15/10/2022 19:57

I think it’s pretty genius. All babies look like partially sentient potatoes, £2.99 is practically daylight robbery, yet idiots are apparently willing to pay it.

HighlandPony · 15/10/2022 19:59

Who cares. The kids gonna be photographed and splashed everywhere soon enough anyway. Might as well make some dough

girlmom21 · 15/10/2022 20:00

She's not selling her baby. What a strange way to view it.

RebeccaRose92 · 15/10/2022 20:00

@girlmom21 will the child view it this way?

Why would anyone want to pay to see a random Celebs baby? 🤷‍♀️

SerenaTee · 15/10/2022 20:09

It’s no different to celebs selling a photo exclusive to OK magazine or similar and there’s no outcry about that. But I do think there should be a ban on famous folk using their children to further their careers, keep their profile up etc.

@girlmom21 will the child view it this way?

I'm sure the child won't feel like they've been sold.
If she doesn't sell them people will view the pictures for free.

Georgeskitchen · 15/10/2022 20:12

Why would anyone be interested apart her family and friends? Who even is she?

Justcallmebebes · 15/10/2022 20:17

Fucking genius. My neighbours just had a baby. £2.00 a pic. Pm me for bank details

Hugasauras · 15/10/2022 20:18

More to the point, who on earth would pay to see pictures of someone's baby? Confused A fool and their money ...

Not strictly but she is selling photos of her newborn baby. That is disgusting.

donquixotedelamancha · 15/10/2022 20:23

We pay some bloke hundreds of millions to wear a shiny hat and pretend to be in charge of everything. He even pretends to be in charge of the people who talk to the magic beardy man in the sky.

People will buy any old shit.

donquixotedelamancha · 15/10/2022 20:27

I don't like it but it's not like she makes her money doing something heinous like selling heroin, stealing cars or working at Lush.

Cantanka · 15/10/2022 20:27

I think it’s unbelievably crass

KeyWorker · 15/10/2022 20:29

I think it pretty grim to be honest. I also don’t love the celebs who do an exclusive with Hello, OK et al but this seems worse somehow.

girlmom21 · 15/10/2022 20:29

@drpet49 I don't necessarily agree with what she's doing but I still think it's strange to accuse her of selling her baby

Choconut · 15/10/2022 20:32

Nothing's sacred for some people is it? They will try to make money out of literally anything.

People buy Hello and OK to see pics of celebs every week. How much do they cost, maybe it's cheaper if you're only interested one baby

multicolouredblouse · 15/10/2022 20:33

She's always been disgusting so I'm not surprised by this. Awful woman.

Monetising the birth of your child proves money doesn’t buy class.

PinkSyCo · 15/10/2022 20:37

What kind of person would pay to see a newborn baby? Confused

Buys nappies though

sandytooth · 15/10/2022 20:40

It's the people paying £2.99 to see it I'd worry about
