I used to feel exactly the same about haviannas. I could not understand why someone would spend ten times more money on not very exciting looking flip flops. And then I bought some and will not wear anything else. I think it’s something to do with the sole. I can walk for miles in them. Because the sole is quite firm you don’t feel uneven ground, stones etc. I also suffer from planta fasciitis and Haviannas don’t cause me any pain.

I agree with you about dogs, although I don't think that's a hugely unpopular stance in real life, there's just a particularly high number of dog nutters on here.
