Another vinted thread - help

Posting for traffic. I'm new to vinted (only joined last week) and have sold quite a few bits already. I've also bought a couple of items and one of them has still not been posted and the buyer has ignored my very polite message this morning. I've just looked at her reviews and there are some where the order has been cancelled or a low rating due to slow postage. Stupid me for not checking first but I never use to with Depop tbh. I don't want to cancel the order as I thought vinted would automatically leave me a bad review, but I thought they might have done it on my behalf by now? It's been 6 days. I appreciate everyone is busy and can't get to the post office/courier straight away but I think she's rude for just ignoring me.

If you've only messaged her this morning she's probably just at work or school and not ignoring you. I'd give her 48 hours to respond.

That's a good point and fair enough if she's busy, but I do still want to cancel the order as I don't believe she's sent it yet and it's been nearly a week. I'm just not sure if I will be left with a bad review or not, hopefully not!

Sellers have five working days (so a week) to send items. After this, Vinted will automatically cancel it and issue you a refund.

I think they have 7 days to post or it’s auto cancelled by Vinted

If you've paid and she hasn't posted- then you have to wait until Vinted cancel. Usually it's 5 working days to post and a day or so for them to realise nothings doing. Then once Vinted have cancelled it either they auto-feedback or give you the chance to feedback - I've had both. So just sit back and wait.

If your package hasn't shipped after 5 days, we'll automatically cancel your order and process your refund. We will however give up to 7 extra days to sellers who need to finalize their verification process (required for sellers only). If you do not want to wait these extra days, you can request a cancellation.

Just leave it, you will get an automatic refund and be able to leave negative feedback for the seller.

I had an order automatically cancelled, I was surprised at the time but the seller then contacted to apologise and said she forgot she had listed it. I've since started paying attention to when items were listed, if it's months I tend to drop them a message before purchasing.

My experience of vinted is people take a
lot longer to post than on eBay, times I’ve bought on there people would regularly wait a week before bothering to post my items

Oh gosh, almost all of my Vinted sales go out the same day as the locker is only up the road. Royal Mail go next day when postie picks up in the morning.
Don't think I've ever got to day 3 in hundreds of sales.
