I have been in a very dark place recently. Done some stupid things. I’m starting to come out of the very dark place and with DH and GP support am improving slowly.
what is not helping is work. I don’t like taking time off work as I don’t think it is good for my mental health but I am so stressed by work I don’t know whether I should take a few days off. I think I’ve scared myself by going into such a dark place so quickly.
Has anyone been in a similar situation. What did you tell work? I don’t want to say it’s mental health problems. I know they will then dismiss it.
