Anyone having a worse night than me?

Very lighthearted, I know there will be people having a worse night than me.

Daughters birthday today, I have been at trampoline park and then out for dinner with her and her two friends who are staying the night.

I have sat from 5 pm till 12 am doing a rough draft of a 1500 word essay (so not a lot but a lot to get done in that time) with constant interruptions (to be expected I suppose).

One of the girls is sleeping in my daughters bed whilst the other two are downstairs. I finally shut my laptop and said good night. Finally lay in bed and up they come requesting a pizza. Back down to do that.

Living room, kitchen and daughters room is an absolute bomb site after I had a cleaner in on Friday so it was sitting all nice. Now laying in bed and cannot sleep.

Roll on 10 am pick up time tomorrow morning. My daughter is going to her dads then too.

Then I will clean and try and do another draft of my essay. Promised myself if I did draft tonight I could have some wine tomorrow afternoon, it is the ONLY thing keeping me going tonight.

Anyone else's Saturday night so shit?

My 6 year old.had a diarrhoea explosion in the car, had to go to my boyfriends place as it was closer to clean him up (it was everywhere). Got home and got him ready for bed only to discover the cat had shat all over his bedroom. She had hidden it very well and it took ages to find all of it (after multiple checks back in his room and there still being a stench). RIP his hulk costume which took the brunt of it.
This was after 4 house sleep and crippling foot pain (plantar fasciitis I've been informed).

I hope your son is ok, what time did he get home at in the end?

God I hated those teenage days of lying in bed waiting for the police/ambulance /fire brigade to ring me!! I really sympathise. (They never did by the way!)

My 13 year year took a massive overdose yesterday, due to severe bullying. Worst day of my life, fingers crossed she’s on the mend
