Has anyone here worked in border force?

I've got a pre recorded video interview next week for it. I've never worked in the CS before, I've done as much research as I can but just wondered if anybody had any reviews about working in border force and/or for the Home Office. I'm a bit nervous tbh.

Just any info about shifts, shift allowances, management, tasks, team spirit.

I haven’t, but want to wish you good luck.
Most interviews they ask scenarios nowadays. So think of difficult scenarios and how best to handle them. When you’d ask for help from a senior staff member. That sort of thing.

Thank you!
I struggle with these kind of scenario questions unless they're painstakingly obvious.. I'll have to do a lot of practice

My stepdad is border force. Send me a direct message with a list of questions and I'll send to him for you.

I’d also be interested if someone could tell me what the shift allowance is.
I work in immigration in a different capacity at the moment and have often found the idea of Border Force fascinating, however there is absolutely no way I could take the pay cut at the advertised salary. If the shift allowance was significant or even significant-ish this would be a total game changer…
