A relative got a large voucher (a few thousand) for a shop instead of an automatic refund for something. She sent me the details of the voucher to use it but I hadn't as yet. The shop has now emailed her to say as it hasn’t been used they are doing an automatic refund. I now lose out on the voucher cos obviously that’s been cancelled as she is keeping the refund. Am I being unreasonable that I now have to pay fully for my own furniture?… and no, she does not need the cash as she has oodles. This is lighthearted btw. I know it’s her money.
