To want to ram one of those wrench type tools that the Corgi registered gas fitter might use right up his arse?

If you say you're going to turn up to fit my gas cooker - bloody well turn up! Don't take your phone off the hook. Have the courtesy of calling me to say you're delayed. Is it really asking too much???

Thank you to British Gas for coming out promptly to seal off the gas pipe that leaked because it had been disconnected for too long because the fitter didn't turn up.

I'm just warming up now the heating can be switched back on, but no cooker until Monday - if the other fitter turns up!

I think that feels a bit better now.

YANBU

Though I'd go for a full boiler up there meself.

I have recently had gas problems (fnarr) and went from Fear of Explosion to Fuck The Gas I'm Freezing, so you have my sympathy.

I must say I find British Gas very efficient and helpful, whatever anyone else says.

Unfortunately British Gas don't connect gas cookers. I've heard many tales of them taping off your boiler and leaving you in the lurch over the years, so I don't let them near mine.

I think I'll steer ds2 into a the gas fitting career. With the amount they charge he could do a couple of small jobs a day and make a decent living!
