Job change - negative response

Person A is an agency worker been in post for 6 months but misses old role and has been asked to return which would like to do

this is likely to cause a negative response from both agency and current employer - is person A in the wrong ?

A is not in the wrong. That's the nature of agency work - the employer could just as easily decide st anytime that an agency worker is no longer needed.

A is not in the wrong so long as they work any noticed in the contact and not just leave over night. If current employer needs someone in that role permanently then should have filled role with permeant member of staff not a temp.
