Talk to doctor about gum?

I have a really sore raw and inflamed gum where my wisdom teeth are
I've got a terrible throat and it's been horrendous since Thursday
Is it likely to be a throat infection stopping my gum from cleaning up
My throat has white puss spots where the tonsils were I had them out
Last time it took two lots of metronidazole to clear it
Will the abx for throat clear gum? It's soo painful it's waking me up at night multiple times as the painkillers wear off

All of my family have covid except me

Dentist for anything mouth related in my opinion.

You can get tonsillitis even if you have had your tonsillis removed as they can grow back if they didn't get all of them out (happened to me) and there's things like quincy throat so definitely speak to a gp but don't mention the wisdom teeth as they won't see you die to it being a dental issue even though some really bad throat infections can spread into the soft tissue of the mouth. If you have had ongoing issues with your wisdom teeth i would contact a dentist about it if not give the antibiotics from the gp a couple of days and if your wisdom teeth are still the same call the dentist

You've got a infected sore throat--see a GP! The throat abx won't hurt the gum issue (it may help!) but try to see a dentist if poss.

I've called the dentist he is away until the 5th!! I have to have four teeth taken out with a general. Have been waiting 18 months to even see a max fax. It's a total joke. I hope the throat isn't because of my teeth

It does look like my tonsils are growing back I'm so dissapointed I had almost 15 years out of them.
I don't think I have Quincy as I can swallow but only just about and when dosed up

Urgh I think the metranidazole I was given for emergencies is probably out of date

The GP is supposed to ring me today
