I know this isn’t a AIBU but posted here for traffic.
My husband has had this lump growing behind his ear for about 3 months.
He says it feels sore when touching it.
Do you have any idea what it could be?
Thank you

Could they have rubbed and left the lump? Happened to my dad.

Dunnoburt · 01/10/2022 22:39

Looks like there is a "head"...... I'd give it a squeeze.......

Possibly a sebaceous cyst.
Get the GP to have a look, if it is a cyst they can sort it out pretty easily.

Wowserme · 01/10/2022 22:43

No his glasses don’t rub there.
it looks like a head on a spit but it isn’t. It feels like a scab

It also feels very hard, it isn’t a spot

Sebaceous cyst?

uncomfortablydumb53 · 01/10/2022 22:45

It looks like a sebaceous cyst
Inside there is a sac filled with gunk
GP's used to remove them, but won't now
I removed one from my exh in the same place with a combination of squeezing and digging the sac out
( not the reason he left me btwGrin)

Basal cell? My sister had it behind her ear. Get GP to have a look.
