Struggling with potty training 3 year old

It all seemed to be going well at home and at nursery but she has now gone backwards and I am really struggling with it. At nursery she struggles to tell the staff when she needs to go and she will sit there quietly. They will ask her if she needs to go and she says no then 5 minutes later has an accident. They do try and sit her on the toilet but she gets very upset.
She keeps having lots of accidents at nursery.

At home, she will tell me when she needs a wee but will refuse to sit on the potty. She gets really upset about it and then when I try to put her on or prompt her to sit on it says ‘no I don’t need a wee’. For the past week she has been holding her wee in and I’m really worrying about it

any advice would be very appreciated

This was mine to the letter about a year ago. It's not uncommon for the potty training to 'regress' and could be tied it with multiple factors to do with environment or development changes. I really wouldn't worry, but be consistent with reminding her to use the toilet and work closely with nursery staff too. I brought the smartie jar back out and gave little one a smartie every time she used the toilet along with loads of praise. After about a month, it all righted itself!
