Instead of brands that are not affordable for me like M&S, Waitrose, Center Parcs and so on. They always seem to partner with more expensive brands. They never partner with brands like Asda for example

YABU just because you can’t afford to buy those brands it doesn’t mean that everyone can’t afford them

It's all about MN pitching itself to a MC demographic. Not a chance they would ever partner with anywhere as 'common' as Asda.

You should give M&S a try, I know it has expensive items BUT it's standard M&S range is well priced

Loaf of bread 70p
Pint of milk 85p
Mature cheddar 350g £2.25

Okay, it's not Aldi prices but all the above are cheaper than Tesco

Oh that’s cheaper than I thought to be honest

I don’t suppose they really get a choice - it’s more who wants to pay a premium to partner with them…

This is true. I bet they are extremely selective over the brands they partner with

But if they got approached by a ‘common’ brand like Asda do you think they would turn the opportunity down? I bet they would, Mumsnet are probably very selective in who they partner with if I’m honest

YANBU OP, I’ve always thought this too

I was thinking this. Asda, Primark, Skeggy Butlins...😆

I can afford all of them but you honestly couldn't pay me to go to a Center Parcs 😆

I won a holiday to Butlins on Mumsnet, so the defo work with more down to earth brands too.
