To ask you to help me remember this book

HELP I saw a book recently that I really wanted to read but I can remember so little about it and the title that my googling is coming up with nothing!

100 points to the first person to get it...

All I can recall is that it was a book about someone who went walking in the United States and it relates to mental health. I think it was an autobiography and relatively recent.

???

Wild by Cheryl Strayed?

Dotcheck · 24/09/2022 21:25

I reckon Wild too

A Walk Across America?

autumnvibez · 24/09/2022 21:31

Hmmm I don't think it was any of those. It had a really long convoluted title. This is ridiculous, I am sorry!!

Wild has a subtitle, “A journey from lost to found”. In case that’s the longer part you’re remembering

Unlost: A journey of self-discovery and the healing power of the wild outdoors?
Was out at the end of last year

Walking America: A 10,000 Mile Journey of Self-Healing
by Jake Sansing

Defo not Wild. More recent. Just googled the last one suggested and not that either. It had an irreverent feel about it if that helps 😅 (I'm sure it won't). It was a woman writer I think

Glad you found it @autumnvibez!
I was googling at 3am when up with the baby but no luck.

autumnvibez · 25/09/2022 08:37

It's funny how little use Google is in some situations! I only found it because I remembered I had written it down in my notes app ages ago along with some other things then deleted it and I remembered another keyword that was also in that note 😳
