In real life I mean not people in the media/spotlight.
If so have you kept it to yourself or told anyone?

I do.

Started reading this thread thinking it might be lighthearted etc. Got bored of the argumentative comments that appeared early in. Why can’t we just have our separate opinions?? Doesn’t mean others are wrong or (in this case) don’t love their partners.

In answer to the OP… not really anymore, I’m menopausal and honestly the stories I read about men these days have put paid to me wanting any of them.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 24/09/2022 23:53

No, only famous people. Who I don’t know and therefore can imagine any old personality for 😂

Orla32 · 24/09/2022 23:58

Yes, me! Turn into a giggly shy school girl when I see him.

Exactly that. Meant to be lighthearted.

Yes, have a crush on someone at work. Can't work out if he fancies me but best if he doesn't 🤣

KalaniM · 25/09/2022 15:54

Having a crush is probably good for you, physically. Keeps the juices flowing, keepsthesparkle.

but me, no I don’t have a crush, haven’t fancied anyone for years. I think for me to sustain an actual crush there has to be a mutual spark, and honestly…no…I don’t think I’m attractive any more, I’ve entered the invisible zone.

TheTurn0fTheScrew · 25/09/2022 16:01

I think it's both common and harmless.

I had a daft crush on my DC's club leader. I'm happily married, and wouldn't dream of cheating. IMO the odd daydream does no harm. And I'm old enough to know that while he was charming and attractive and attentive, in reality he's a flawed human being like the rest of us.

jinxyminxy · 25/09/2022 16:12

I also have dirty thoughts about a colleague. He's not my type and not particularly good looking either. I'd die of shame before I admitted it to anyone. Still completely in love with my husband.

SallyWD · 25/09/2022 16:24

I always used to but can't think of anyone at the moment. There's also only one famous person I fancy (used to be dozens!). Maybe I'm just getting old (47) and my oestrogen levels have plummeted!

RumorRomeo · 25/09/2022 16:27

I didn’t see anyone accusing anyone of not loving their partner. People have gotten offended by other posters not having crushes whilst being in ltr tho - lol!

OldTinHat · 25/09/2022 16:45

Nope. And am single!

Flipflop2047 · 25/09/2022 16:51

Absolutely, he works within my company in a different department and he's lovely. Enjoy the times he occasionally comes over to my department. He has no idea I fancy the pants off him haha I'm single

Whatwouldscullydo · 25/09/2022 16:56

Yes 😳 and I doubt he feels the same way so its a waste of time but I cant help it 😳

Bugeyedowl · 25/09/2022 16:59

Yes but he's a celebrity so doesn't count.
