Upset today, would have been our anniversary

I'm say having a little cry and feeling sorry for myself

Today would have been mine and my ex's anniversary. We broke up earlier this year, we still loved each other but weren't happy anymore so agreed it was best to part ways.

im just so sad, looking back to this time last year we were engaged and happy and a complete family.

now I'm a single mum, sat here crying about how things didn't work out how I wanted and feeling completely pathetic.

It's not pathetic to be upset. Sounds like the seperation is fairly recent if a year ago you were happily engaged? Give yourself a break, and some time to get over it, you won't always feel like this. Promise.

Consider yourself lucky as no one wants someone like that.

Time will heal and you will find something better, trust me.

Take care and please move on

Be kind to yourself. You are nit being g unreasonable. The relationship may have ended but it is so easy to keep looking back. Take each day at a time. Focus on you and your child.

@JamesBondOO7
Why does OP have to consider themselves lucky and why will someone better come along? Nothing in their post gives any indication anyone did anything wrong yet your post assumes OP's ex was at fault somehow. Have i missed something?!
