Stamp duty change - confused

Does anyone know know if you have exchanged on a property but not completed whether the new stamp duty changes would reduce my stamp duty bill? It says the changes are in effect now I think but not sure what that means? Thx in advance

Check with your solicitor - but as money only changes hands on completion and not exchange i think you may benefit from this. Fingers crossed!

I think it's calculated on day of completion so you may be lucky
