My union (UCU) is striking next week

Dh is in the same union and will be striking from home. He says I'm crazy to go and stand on the picket line.

YABU: He's right, stay home and have a lazy day

YANBU: Go wave your placard 🪧

You should picket. The NUT went on strike (several years ago) I was in a different non striking union but I would not have crossed a picket line.
No one in the striking union bothered to turn up.

There's the old 1970s (?) joke that goes along the lines of "it won't get better if you pick it". I work with members of UCU and they have, during past 'strikes' agreed to hold meetings in a completely different venue where they didn't need to cross the picket line... so there is flexibility..
