Background- 6/7 years with one company which was second job out of uni
Left 18months ago for a new challenge which was OK but boring but if I'm honest it was during covid lockdowns etc I don't think I got the "full experience" of working there
After 12-18 months I felt it was "boring" and missed my old place and I was "lucky enough" to get my old job back
Well I remember why I left
I have been back 12 months it's absolutely relentless fire fighting pulled In all directions and absolutely no light at the end of the tunnel
I applied for an internal role around 4 months ago and although feedback was great and I was in the final 2 was unsuccessful
Wibu to start looking for a new job now? I have a 3 month notice period so even if I was successful in any of my applications I would have been back at Jo blogs Inc for 15months
Tried to speak to my manager in my 121 but honestly they are under as much stress and pressure as I am
BUT all the things I came back for (great colleagues fab culture) I would miss
Yet again many corporate places are much the same for this??
YABU- you can't be a job hopper stick it out another year
YANBU- apply see what's out there life's too short
Short story is- if you leave a job there is a reason
