Is this normal for a 19 month old?

He never seems to have much attention for anything. I'm mainly talking the group's we go to. He seems to be the only child who's running around looking at everything except what's going on during the class.

I don't need to take him to them all but one of them has been referred by the HV for speech therapy so I do need to attend that one and it just worries me that he's the only one there who won't ever sit and engage with what's going on. He just wants to be off exploring or playing with something in a corner by himself.

That's completely normal. It's pretty boring to sit in a circle and listen when you're learning to explore the world.

My little boy is exactly the same !!! Same age too . I always feel like he is the only one not paying attention also . He will walk round the room touching chairs and radiators and fire doors instead ConfusedGrin
