26p for a sauce sachet!

Just had a quick look at child’s dinner money account - today along with their dinner they had a sauce sachet costing 26p!

I know things have gone up but 26p for a sachet of ketchup? Doesn’t that seem steep? Although I guess they aren’t allowed to make a profit (council run canteen) so it must be to cover their costs.

They're 30p each here.
I'm used to them being 10p (or free) so i'd always rather go without myself. Kids don't quite have the same concept of money though unfortunately.

Where I used to work sachets of sauce where 10p which was quite a while ago. I brought my own bottle of sauce to work but someone else didn't want to pay the 10p and used to use mine😡. Probably not practical for school.
I collect any sachets I am given when out and don't use. Are handy when having takeaway when out and in car.
