Am I being unreasonable?
When the estate I live in was built, the boundaries were set with chain link fences.
My attached garage is on the left side facing the house, and the chain link was removed by previous neighbours.
They told me they'd removed it, and I
wasn't bothered at all as it literally was only an inch or so.
Since then,
the next lot of neighbours have screwed and hammered in all sorts on my garage wall. And growing climbers. Not only that, they've extended their patio, but just dumped excess soil behind a retaining wall for them, but no retaining wall to protect my building. A corner of my garage is buried about 2 feet above damp proof course. For years I've asked them to remove and get it sorted.
I've had to shell out money constantly cutting my side of their leylandii hedge, which is now about10 ft tall. Put up with them dumping their dogs mess under said hedge. Fences rotting and bloody dogs barking constantly, when we use the garden, answer the front door etc, etc!!
All this is on my boundary line. It's my responsibility according to deeds.
Am I being unreasonable to ask them to remove and put right the damage to my garage wall?
