Absolutely not.
Far too much on show for a wedding and people will think you are trying to upstage the bride, which is a massive no-no.
Hard to tell the colour on my monitor but if its white or off white, also a huge no-no at a wedding.
Not very classy.

You’d need good legs for that, so, no.

Only legs???? A substantial superstructure would help too.

ThanksItHasPockets · 17/09/2022 20:51

jealous middle aged women who would never be able to get away with wearing something like this in there life and have to stick to boring potato sacks to cover their tummy tyre

You know that’s not OP in the image, right? It’s entirely possible that she is middle-aged and contemplating squeezing her tummy tyre into the frock.

Marcipex · 17/09/2022 20:54

Wear it, it will give people a giggle .

lemonyanus · 17/09/2022 20:56

Don't stand too close to a naked flame. That material looks like it might be synthetic.

Flopisfatteningbingforchristmas · 17/09/2022 20:57

Nailed it.

MaggieFS · 17/09/2022 21:03

Are you asking because someone wore it to your wedding?

WhileMyGuitarGentlyWeeps · 17/09/2022 21:04

No.

Justgorgeous · 17/09/2022 21:08

Looks like a cheap, satin bedsheet

Tigertigertigertiger · 17/09/2022 21:09

Yikes

Fingeronthebutton · 17/09/2022 21:14

I’ve seen Albanian weddings in Albania. That would fit in perfectly.

@FlipFlopBattle - it's a screenshot of the website not a pic of the OP.

Terrible picture for the website though.

Anyway. I've changed my mind OP. It's perfect.

TheKingsInk · 17/09/2022 21:55

Wear what you want to but be mindful it’s then ride and groom that should be the focus of attention

TheKingsInk · 17/09/2022 21:55

Bride and groom

GettingItOutThere · 17/09/2022 22:22

yes. if you hate the bride

wherearebeefandonioncrisps · 17/09/2022 22:32

OP hasn't come back.
Maybe a goady post or a reverse?

BertieQueen · 17/09/2022 22:39

If the groom is your ex and the bride is your best friend then yes the dress is perfect 👍

@nachoavocado

Yes, and I'm now wondering if someone was just bored, or doing market research on how Mumsnet responds to certain triggers??

So far we have: a company actually choosing to market their clothes via badly-cropped selfies taken at weird angles, a thread asking (for the nth time this summer) whether a dress, that blatantly isn't suitable for a wedding, is suitable for a wedding, and a wide range of answers, mainly in consensus, but with a few (planted?) opinions that are guaranteed red flags to certain MN bulls.

If any fact-bombs get dropped overnight about this wedding having issues with an inconsistent kids/no kids policy, in-laws demonstrating financial wedding contribution favouritism, or the bride making outlandish demands because it's "her day", we'll know guerilla researchers are on the loose...

CactusBlossom · 18/09/2022 03:39

Too long 🤣 It fits where it touches, but there's not much where it touches!
Only suitable for a wedding if you are jumping out of the cake.

Cakeandcoffee93 · 18/09/2022 03:47

Fuck it wear it, it’s 2022

ConfusedDottComm · 18/09/2022 04:35

You must be joking.

millymog11 · 18/09/2022 04:57

No. If you are going to try to pull someone then fine. To a wedding? Are you joking?

Marvellousmadness · 18/09/2022 07:02

I hate these f@ke threads that try to stir shit up

nachoavocado · 18/09/2022 07:27

@FlipFlopBattle Interesting theory!
