I’ve just done a course online and wondering what the best brands are for gel nail polish? I’ve heard ‘beetles’ isn’t as good. I’m also after recs for a good lamp. I know each lamp cures the same branded nail polish best so I want to get this right from the start.

There is an on line forum called Salongeek that is great for information and advice if you are just starting out.
A well priced gel polish for professional use is The Manicure Company. Its for sale online and from Capital Hair & Beauty. Good selection of colours and very hard-wearing. You will go through alot of product when practicing so the more expensive ranges can make it all very expensive. They also sell their own lamp too. Good luck with the new venture.
