I know I'm being UR

Hello. I know I'm being UR by the way. Split with sons dad when he was 1.5 years old. For the past 3 years I've done 80 PC child care. His dad worked weekends so would only do every 1 in 6 or so. There was no rhythm to his shifts and he deliberately would leave me to do most of it. Anyway he's now met someone and the past 6 months he's dad of the year. He's agree to 2 nights a week and a weekend a month (this hasn't materialise yet) as shift pattern only recently changed.
Surely he could have got his arse into gear 3 years ago and not left me doing almost every weekend, every night and every nursery drop? Why do they have a personality transplant when they meet someone?!?

"Why do they have a personality transplant when they meet someone?!?"

You can bet your bottom dollar it will only last until he's reeled her in, as you say the one weekend a month is still to materialise (don't hold your breath, you'll go a charming shade of cyanosed).

It's just frustrating. He could have done this 3 years ago instead of near driving me to a breakdown.
